In July 2001, Pioneer released a book entitled Azumanga Two (あずまんが 2 あずまきよひこ作品集), featuring a comic by Azuma Kiyohiko. Along with the book came bundled two small, one-episode comics (Wallaby and Try! Try! Try!), and a bonus CD. Azuma went on to create the very successful Azumanga Daioh, but this series has nothing to do with Azumanga Two, apart from sharing the same creator.
Try! Try! Try! went on to become the series Yotsubato!, which is currently being serialized in the monthly Japanese magazine Dengeki Daioh. It tells the story of a small green-haired girl (Yotsuba) and her father, after they have moved to a new neighborhood. They soon befriend the three Ayase sisters living next door, and much hilarity ensues.
The two short Try! Try! Try! comics in this file are 'webcomics' from the bonus CD that came with Azumanga Two. They were given silly episode numbers to represent the fact that they're just little bonus episodes. The first, Episode -1 (Minus 1): Ena-chan's Mishap, tells the story of an interesting discovery made by Ayase Ena. The second, Try! Try! Try! Fractional Episode, is a nice story about the different characters' reactions to Yotsuba's mischief.
