Hiatus

Before crossing paths with Ke Mingxuan, Chief Bian was the walking epitome of overbearing tyranny. Without Ke Mingxuan in it, his life would have undoubtedly continued to be blissful. However, as fate would have it, that was not what happened. His encounter with Ke Mingxuan would prove to be the most excruciating pain he would ever experience, both metaphorically and very literally.

Note: Based on the novel by Tao Quian Sui of the same name. For the manhua adaption, it is considered the 1st part of a trilogy in which each part focuses on different pair of characters.
